Raising start-up capital can be daunting. The Capital Coach program is a series of free financial workshops designed to introduce local entrepreneurs to financial partners, and help them learn how to engage with various sources to get funding.

The Capital Coach program is a collaboration of eight community organizations who are dedicated to making Winston-Salem the best place to build a business in the Southeast. The entrepreneurial support organizations that partner to co-present the Capital Coach workshops are Center for Creative Economy, Forsyth Tech Small Business Center, Goler Community Development Corporation, Greater Winston-Salem, Inc., Triad Minority & Women's Business Expo, Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce, Winston-Salem Women's Business Center, and WinstonStarts.

Our aim is to educate and aid NC businesses with securing funding through grants, loans and private equity. Eligible for-profit businesses may enroll for free, educational programs and expert coaching to the program's hands-on workshops which will be held periodically throughout the year. The first workshop will be launched Spring 2025.
